Benefits & Perks
When it comes to having competitive compensation and benefits, we at Matrix
Service have made it a priority to reward our employees. To attract and retain
the best people, we are careful to make sure that our quality benefits package
is effective and flexible. It pays to work for a company that reinvests in you.
The Standards
Each year, you are allowed to choose your benefits coverage to ensure the best
fit for your individual and family needs. Our benefits coverage includes you,
your spouse, and eligible dependents. A complete package of the job-specific
benefit choices will be made available to you at the time of your employment.
Health/Welfare - We offer a wide menu of group medical plans,
including prescription drug coverage. Depending on location, the choices include
various HMO and PPO options. Additionally, we offer dental insurance and vision
coverage to our employees, as well as a flexible spending account for health
care and dependent care.
Income Protection - To provide you peace of mind, we offer
short-term and long-term disability insurance, group life insurance, optional
life insurance (employee, spouse and child), and accidental death and dismemberment
protection.
Retirement and Financial Planning - Because planning for the future
is vital, Matrix Service provides a 401(k) plan for our employees. Employees
can contribute a percentage of their salary each pay period on a tax-deferred
basis up to the IRS annual limits. The Company matches a percentage of every
dollar you contribute. The plan offers employees a choice of several investment
options.

Training & Career Development
Matrix Service is committed to providing our employees with essential training
to ensure continued personal and professional success within our organization.
Ongoing education and development are important to our company and employees,
as we continue to grow and expand our operations.
Training and Development - To keep up with the ever-changing
requirements of our industry and the requirements of technology, the Company
encourages all employees to seek the appropriate training for their jobs and
careers. This may include a variety of training programs internal to the company,
as well as courses taught outside the company by subject-matter experts. Training
topics range from safety initiatives, to new developments and trends within
the industry, to softer skills, such as management development, leadership,
and time management skills.
Tuition Reimbursement - The Company's commitment to continued
education is also evidenced through our tuition reimbursement benefit. We will
reimburse 100% of each employee's tuition and other eligible fees for accredited
education programs outside of regular working hours. We require three things:
that the curriculum meets Matrix Service's business needs, that it is pre-approved
by the employee's manager, and that the employee satisfactorily completes the
course. We also offer fee reimbursement for professional certifications and
Continuing Education classes/seminars related to maintaining professional certifications
and licenses.
Professional Development Program (PDP) for Project Managers
- At Matrix Service, the position of Project Manager is vital to our business.
Because of the importance of this role within our company, we have developed
a specialized training program targeted at recruiting, hiring, and developing
high-caliber engineering/construction science graduates for Project Manager
positions. New recruits enter the company's PDP training program, where they
progress through a variety of operations-related assignments, such as shop fabrication,
design engineering, marketing, and field construction. This rotational-approach
gives participants a broad exposure to our business and operations, and familiarizes
them with Matrix's services and products. This is another example of our company's
commitment to training as a long-term strategic objective.
Advancement Opportunities - The Company believes in providing
opportunities for growth and advancement to our employees. As a company, we
strongly encourage our employees to post and interview for open positions. To
facilitate internal advancement of our employees, all positions are posted internally
for five days before external candidates are considered. Many of the upper-level
managers in our company started their careers at Matrix and have promoted to
the leadership positions they have today. Our low-turnover as a company is an
obvious result of the tremendous career opportunities provided by the Company.

Time Off
Of course, you will want time to relax, too. Relaxation time allows you to
rejuvenate, refresh, and keep a balance between work and everything else going
on in your life. That is why we give employees time away from the office. For eligible
employees, we reward you for your service to the Company through Paid Time Off (PTO) and
holidays. Finally, we have flexible work schedules in many of our
departments and business units to aid employees in making sure they maintain
their own work/life balance.

dress, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), an Employee Referral Bonus Program,
and company-sponsored events for both employees and their families.
It all comes down to one simple truth: Matrix Service is a great place to work.
