Fabrication

Wherever your projects are, Matrix Service’s fully equipped fabrication facilities are strategically located to service your power, refining, petrochemical or heavy industrial needs.

With five fabrication facilities with over 273,000 sq. ft. under roof total specializing in steel plate, structural steel and vessel fabrication, Matrix Service shops are set up to handle even your most demanding fabrication requirements.

OSHA VPP Star Designation

Our largest fabrication facility in Catoosa, OK,  is one of only two heavy metal fabrication facilities in the U.S. to achieve OSHA’s VPP Star status.  The highest designation given by OSHA, it is the most challenging of the category designations and indicates the facility’s proven success in four interdependent areas:

  • Management leadership and employee involvement
  • Worksite analysis
  • Hazard prevention and control
  • Safety and health training

Receipt of this designation is a testament to our employees’ commitment to maintaining a world-class safety culture and their focus on eliminating incidents all-together.

Pressure Vessels

For pressure vessel fabrication, Matrix Service follows strict quality control measures and testing procedures to produce safe, compliant vessels and components. To meet these stringent client requirements, we maintain ASME U Civ. 1, U2 Div. 2, P, S and B31.3 stamps as well as NBIC R certifications.

Our vessel and specialty fabrication experience includes trayed towers, columns, separators, reactors and regenerators (FCC, CCR, HTU, SRU and Amine), scrubbers, absorbers, stacks, containment structures and ducting. These vessels and structures are designed to withstand harsh, high-pressure and high-temperature environments such as refining, natural gas, chemical, pulp/paper and food industries.

Matrix Service provides pressure vessel fabrication from facilities in Oklahoma, California and Washington and is well acquainted with all areas of international shipping. Our established relationships with dedicated trucking companies, freight handlers, LTL carriers, railroads and barging companies make streamlined transport a given for any project. Our largest fabrication facility at the Port of Catoosa in Oklahoma offers direct barge access to the Gulf of Mexico.
