When it comes to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of large-scale infrastructure for the oil and gas sector, Matrix Service knows what it takes to safely complete projects on time and under budget. When Energy Transfer turned to us, Matrix Service brought to fruition a turnkey EPC solution, with construction beginning in February 2016. Let’s take a closer look at the project.
Through a partnership with Energy Transfer, Matrix Service was awarded 6 crude oil gathering and storage terminals and associated pumping facilities located in the midwest.
Terminals have a combined total of 14 fixed cone roof tanks.
Roof tanks range in size from 100,000bbls to 200,000bbls.
The total storage capacity allows for 1.94 million barrels of crude oil.
Terminals also include 60,000HP of installed pipeline pumping capacity.
The workforce for the project peaked at over 900 direct hire and subcontract craft workers, and 120 management staff.
Whether it’s oil and gas terminals to feed pipelines or critical infrastructure like crude oil storage terminals, Matrix Service can help you identify opportunities and develop solutions with our proven EPC services.
